I second kickboxing. Do it every day, and also spend 20 minutes or so on another aerobic exercise to get your heart going. Walking is good. So is the elliptical machine. I would recommend running, but it is not good for your joints, especially the knees.
Also, a change in diet is necessary if you want to lose weight and have an optimal work out. I would increase lean protein and veggies, drink more water (or if you already drink enough, keep it up…myself, I’m hopelessly addicted to diet coke and have to remember to drink more water).
Also – my old standby is safe, practical, healthy and guaranteed to work: stop consuming white crap, meaning no sugar, flour, salt or dairy.
